Roly Poly Executives

Founders Linda Wolf and Julie Reid

Over 35 years ago Linda opened her first shop serving Tex Mex food in Westport, Connecticut. This early teenage venture led to a lifetime of filling tortillas with nontraditional ingredients – ditching the rice and beans and going instead with fresh vegetables, herbs, spices, lean meats and cheeses. Over the years many other Wolf enterprises served as the testing ground for the sandwiches that would ultimately make up the core Roly Poly menu – focused on nutritious pure food and quality ingredients combined with bold spices and flavors.

It was not until Linda teamed up with Julie Reid that the Roly Poly concept truly took form. Julie, an All American swimmer at Clemson University and a business and finance major knew immediately what it would take to make the Roly Poly model a financial success. Julie fine tuned operations and procedures and then the twosome set about opening up the first Roly Poly shop in Atlanta to test their concept model. The rest is rolling history.

Linda’s sandwich obsession and Julie’s efficiency expertise led to the creation of the Roly Poly concept – one of a kind healthy rolled sandwiches that have made Roly Poly an urban legend.
